For the use of merchants and neighborhood residents,
Shaker Square now has City of Cleveland Division of Waste Collection recycling bins.
There are two blue and green bins, shown above: one in the
parking lot behind CVS/pharmacy in the Northeast
quadrant of the Square, the other in the Southwest
quadrant, behind Shaker Square
Cinema/Dave’s Market.
The city will accept cardboard, paper,
plastic (1-7), glass, and aluminum for recycling. There is no
need to separate the items – they can be placed all
together in the same bin. For more about what you can
recycle and other recycling locations,

The Coral Company worked with the City to
provide space for the bins and announced this "green"
step for the Square in March 2008. |
